30-Hour Famine

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Thank you for signing up with us as a 30-Hour Famine Leader! On behalf of the 30-Hour Famine Organising Committee, welcome onboard! We appreciate your commitment to the work that is being done to combat global issues affecting children and families in need, and we thank you for taking up the challenge to organise a Friends & Family (F&F)/Community Challenge!

You will receive an email from World Vision Malaysia with your online fundraising profile and login details. Use your customised link to invite your friends and family to donate to the cause. As a Leader, add your F&F/Community Fighters into the members list in your profile.
Community Leaders will go through a phone interview screening by the 30-Hour Famine Committee. Community Leaders who pass the screening will be assigned a Famine Team Leader from World Vision Malaysia.
A Leader’s Agreement will be sent to you via email. Download, sign, and email the Agreement back to 30hourfamine@wvi.org. ALL Leaders are required to sign the Agreement.
Upon returning the agreement, you will receive the Leaders’ Guidebook with materials and ZOOM link for F&F/Community Leaders Training.
When you have successfully met the fundraising target of RM100, you will receive a T-shirt information form via email. Submit the form with your details and expect to receive your 30-Hour Famine T-shirt via courier service in two weeks’ time.

*In light of the Conditional Movement Control Order, T-shirts will only be shipped out beginning 24 May 2021 and may take up to two weeks to reach you.
Organise your F&F/Community Challenge physically or virtually! Encourage your participants to fast together from solid food, meat consumption, or beverages (aside from water) for 30 hours.
Join the Online Celebration on 8 August 2021! This finale is an experience not to be missed! Join thousands of other Famine Fighters from all over Malaysia for an exciting two hours of activities, performances and learning more about the cause you’re supporting.
