WHERE THE FUNDS GO
The funds raised through the 30-Hour Famine 2021 will support World Vision’s community development work in the countries below, providing children and families with Health & Nutrition, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and Livelihood assistance. This includes:
Improving nutrition knowledge and skills among mothers and caregivers of children under five.
Increasing access to handwashing facilities and safe drinking water in rural child care centres.
Improving access to markets for poorest-of-poor households as well as helping these households to work closely with local partners.
Supporting co-operative groups in accessing markets as well as facilitating savings groups. Co-operative groups are made up of many households, giving them access to collective savings and allowing them to sell their agricultural produce as a group.
